Some wedding days sparkle because of the venue. Some shine because of the people. Damion and Madison’s wedding on August 29th, 2025 was a rare blend of both—the wide skies and open beauty of Stone Hill Farm perfectly matched the laughter, energy, and heart these two (and their people!) brought to the day. From quiet, meaningful first looks to a dance floor packed with High School Musical singalongs, it was a day layered with love, fun, and those little unscripted moments that end up meaning the most.

As a videographer, I had the joy of not just watching it unfold, but capturing it so they’ll always have the sounds, the motion, and the emotion of every chapter. Here’s how the story of their wedding day played out.

Morning at Stone Hill Farm

The bridal suite buzzed from the moment the doors opened, curling irons humming, laughter bouncing off the walls, and a playlist that kept the energy light. Madison and her bridesmaids leaned into the joy of the morning with inside jokes, shared stories, and those little encouraging comments that remind a bride she’s fully surrounded by love. Every so often someone would pause just to take it all in, the way the light filtered through the windows, the dress hanging nearby, the reality that this was finally the day.

Meanwhile, the guys had a slower, more relaxed start. No rush, just ties waiting to be tied, jackets still on hangers. The laughter there was more low-key but every bit as real, punchy jokes, playful banter, and that unspoken excitement building under the calm.

Back in the bridal suite, the room shifted from chatter to soft quiet as Madison stepped into her wedding dress. Her mom fastened the final buttons, her hands lingering for a moment at her daughter’s back, a gesture equal parts steady and emotional. A deep breath, a quick look in the mirror, and Madison was ready for the first of many sweet moments.

First Looks

Madison’s first look with her dad came first, a pause in the day that felt so special. He turned to see his daughter, and in an instant the weight of all their shared years shimmered to the surface. Tears, laughter, and a hug that neither wanted to end.

Then, under the Stone Hill pergola, Damion waited for his bride. The breeze shifted just enough to carry the anticipation. Madison walked toward him, and when he turned, the smile that broke across his face was pure joy. They tucked into each other like it was the most natural thing in the world, exchanging a few private words and then their personal vows. It was just the two of them, even with cameras nearby, and the love between them was so tangible you could almost hold it in your hands.

We grabbed a few portraits right after, Damion steady and grinning, Madison glowing and radiant. Then the bridal party joined in, bringing their big personalities with them.

Bridal Party Fun

This crew was a blast. The girls leaned into every pose with laughter, arms looped together, making even the formal shots look effortless and full of warmth. The guys… well, let’s just say their approach was a little more chaotic, in the best way. At one point, they even managed to hoist Damion upside down for a photo, because apparently no wedding album is complete without a little acrobatics.

Aside from a rogue bee invasion, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The rolling grounds of Stone Hill framed the whole group, every shot layered with light, color, and pure joy.

After bridal party shenanigans came family photos, grounding the energy back in generations of love and support. Grandparents smiled wide, siblings teased, and the littlest ones worked hard to stay patient. Then it was time to reset, breathe, and prepare for the ceremony.

A Sunny Ceremony

The ceremony space at Stone Hill Farm looked stunning under the late summer sun. Guests settled into their seats with fans and sunglasses, chatting in low tones until the music shifted and the processional began.

And then, the moment: Madison, radiant, walking toward Damion. He couldn’t hold back the emotion, tears slipping down as his bride made her way down the aisle.

Their ceremony had all the right pieces: Vows exchanged with voices steady but full of emotion, rings placed as family and friends looked on, a unity ceremony with three strands braided together, symbolizing their commitment intertwined with faith, and then: the kiss. Joy burst across both their faces as they turned and walked back down the aisle, officially husband and wife.

A Butterfly Tribute

As guests moved toward cocktail hour, Madison had something deeply personal planned. With her grandpa and mom by her side, she and Damion released monarch butterflies in memory of her grandmother. The air filled with delicate wings, a living tribute shimmering in the sun. A memory, an honor, a symbol of presence that was both heartbreaking and beautiful.

Cocktails, Photos, and Grand March

With emotions tender and full, the vibe shifted back into celebration. Guests sipped cocktails, stopped into the photo booth for silly poses and custom photo strips, and began to make their way to their seats.

The grand march brought the volume up, the bridal party entered with energy, each one bringing their own spin before Madison and Damion made their entrance to cheers that could’ve raised the roof.

Dinner & Toasts

Precision Catering had prepared a meal that had everyone excited. Plates were cleared and seconds requested, the kind of meal that gets quiet in the best way because people are too busy enjoying every bite.

Then came toasts. Best man Jaden shared a mix of humor and heartfelt admiration for Damion, painting a picture of loyalty and friendship that went beyond words. Maid of honor Megan, Madison’s twin sister, delivered a speech that had everyone laughing one moment and tearing up the next. She knew exactly which stories to tell, stories only a sister could and she closed with encouragement that carried the weight of lifelong love.

First Dances Under the Sky

The reception moved back outside as the sun dipped lower, the air cooling just enough to feel like the perfect summer night.

Madison and Damion’s first dance was pure fun, swing dancing across the floor with spins and dips that had the whole crowd clapping along. They weren’t just dancing; they were performing a little slice of who they are together: joyful, energetic, and fully in sync.

Then came the parent dances. Madison and her dad swayed softly, exchanging smiles that spoke volumes. Damion and his mom followed with a dance full of tenderness. Together, they created a rhythm that felt like gratitude set to music.

Before the floor officially opened, everyone was invited out for a group photo, a sea of smiling faces, arms raised high, the kind of image that captures just how loved these two are.

Ice Cream & Dance Floor Magic

As the Twisted Scoop ice cream truck pulled up, guests lined up eagerly for cones and sundaes. Ice cream and weddings might just be the perfect pair, sticky fingers, cold scoops, and laughter drifting across the lawn.

Meanwhile, the DJ opened the dance floor, and from the first beat, it was clear this was going to be a night to remember.

Guests sang at the top of their lungs, twirled across the floor, and pulled the couple in for every chorus. When High School Musical came on, the floor absolutely erupted, everyone shouting the lyrics, arms flung around each other, the energy electric.

Some guests broke off to play bags on the lawn or catch up over drinks, while others kept the photo booth buzzing with goofy props and laughter. The whole property felt alive, different corners of celebration, all woven together into one perfect evening.

Sneaking Away

Before the night got too far along, we stole Damion and Madison away for a few last portraits at sunset. The light was soft and golden, wrapping around them like a quiet blessing. They walked hand in hand, paused to soak in the view, and whispered to each other in a way that felt like they were already sealing away memories just for themselves.

These little breaks are always some of my favorite moments of the day, the rush fades, the crowd hums in the background, and it’s just the couple, together, breathing it all in.

A Dance Floor That Never Quit

Back inside, the dance floor stayed packed until the very end. Every song felt bigger than the last, the laughter louder, the voices hoarser from singing. Madison and Damion were at the center of it all.

By the time the night wound down, the photo strips, ice cream drips, and tired-but-happy faces told the whole story. This wasn’t just a wedding; it was a full celebration of who they are and the community that surrounds them.
