Drake’s senior session was one for the books! We started at Otter Creek Park—one of my favorite go-to spots with everything you could ask for: the iconic bridge, peaceful creek, and all the lush nature. Drake was laid-back and easy to work with, making the session fly by. He mentioned wanting some sunset photos at the football field, but it wasn’t looking too promising—clouds had taken over and golden hour seemed like a no-go. So, we wrapped up the first half of the session and decided to save those field shots for another day. But then… Minnesota skies pulled a fast one! A little while after I got back to Maple Lake, I noticed the clouds breaking and the sun starting to peek through. I quickly messaged Drake to see if he was still around and ready to rally—and thankfully, he was! Since we both lived nearby, we made it happen. We ended the night with a mini golden hour session at the football field, and it was absolutely perfect. Those warm sunset tones, the jersey, and the field—it all came together just right. So glad we went for it!
