George’s senior session was extra special because he’s a GAP sibling (LOVE!), and I got to return to their beautiful family farm. One of my favorite parts of senior photography is learning about each senior’s unique life and personality through their photos. I knew farm animals were in my future after photographing his brother Henry’s session, but George made sure his shoot was totally his own! We kicked things off with a few shots of George and his truck before hopping on the side-by-side to head into the fields. His top priority? Showcasing not just one, but TWO combines! One of them was his demo combine, which he competes with—such a cool and unique touch. After capturing those epic shots, we made our way back to the farm for some classic senior portraits. Of course, we had to get a few with his cow (because the Elsenpeter farm life isn’t complete without a cow cameo!). We wrapped up by wandering around the property, snapping photos with the tractor and soaking in the beauty of rural Minnesota. There’s nothing quite like the smells, sights, and atmosphere of a farm at golden hour.
