Skyler’s senior session was one of those special evenings that reminded me why I love what I do. We photographed her session at a place full of heart—her grandma’s home. This location held deep meaning for both Skyler and her mom, and it was such an honor to be invited into that space to capture it. We explored the property, finding so many sweet little backdrops that reflected Skyler’s style and personality. From the yard to the garden to the quiet corners of the home, every spot felt like it had a story. One moment I especially loved was when we paused to take a photo in front of the house at her mom’s request—those are the kinds of memories that last far beyond senior year. As the sun started to dip low in the sky, Skyler changed into her final outfit. We ended the session by the tree she and her grandma planted when she was younger. It was a beautiful moment and the perfect way to wrap up the evening. A session filled with meaning, connection, and golden light—it doesn’t get better than that.
