A Perfectly Cloudy MN Wedding Day: Celebrating Tanner and Kyra at Willow Brooke Farm

Sunday, May 26th, 2024, was a day to remember as Tanner and Kyra tied the knot at the picturesque Willow Brooke Farm in Red Wing, Minnesota. The weather might have been cloudy, but it turned out to be just perfect, with the rain holding off and the wind calming down just in time for the ceremony. This joyful day was filled with love, laughter, and plenty of surprises, making it a truly unforgettable experience. The day began with a heartwarming moment as Kyra's mom helped her into her stunning wedding dress. Her accessories adorned with exquisite pearl accents, perfectly complemented Kyra’s radiant smile. As she slipped into her gown and added the final touches of her accessories, you could feel the excitement in the room. The anticipation of the day ahead filled the air with joy. Once Kyra was ready, it was time for the first look with Tanner. This intimate moment was nothing short of magical. The couple chose to read their private vows to each other, a tender exchange that brought tears to their eyes and smiles to their faces. It was a beautiful start to a day that would be filled with heartfelt moments and cherished memories. With the first look complete, we moved on to capturing portraits of the couple and their lively bridal party. Tanner and Kyra’s friends were a fun-loving group, always ready with a joke or a silly pose to keep the atmosphere light and joyful. Tanner and Kyra are expecting their first baby, and they decided to share the news with their loved ones in a spectacular way. As they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, streamer cannons exploded with pink streamers, revealing that they are expecting a baby girl! After the ceremony, Tanner and Kyra took some time to greet their guests before hopping on a bus with their bridal party to kick off the celebrations. The grand entrance of the bridal party was truly grand. The groomsmen surprised everyone with an original chant and dance, a lively performance to start the night. Dinner, catered by Meatheads Catering from Bay City, WI, was a highlight of the evening. The mac and cheese most definitely earning a 10/10 rating. The hearty meal provided the perfect fuel for the night of dancing and celebration that lay ahead. During dinner, the toasts began. Two best men and the maid and matrons of honor took turns sharing stories and memories of their friendships with Tanner and Kyra. Their speeches were filled with humor and love, offering a glimpse into the deep connections and cherished moments that have defined Tanner and Kyra’s journey together. These toasts beautifully highlighted how their love story began and grew from the perspectives of their closest friends. Then onto the first dances. Tanner and Kyra’s first dance as a married couple was a beautiful, tender moment. Following this, Kyra and her Dad shared a sweet moment and then Tanner shared a choreographed dance with his mom that was both sweet and impressive, showcasing their close bond and adding a fun twist to the traditional mother-son dance. As many of the guests were alumni of the University of Minnesota, like Tanner and Kyra, the evening was sprinkled with moments that celebrated their alma mater. As the night continued, DJ Dewy Entertainment kept the dance floor packed with an amazing mix of tunes that had guests of all ages up and dancing. Tanner and Kyra snuck away for a few more portraits during the reception. Even though the clouds meant there wasn’t a traditional sunset, the soft light and the enchanting string lights on the patio created a dreamy atmosphere for these final photos. The vineyard, tree swing, and other charming spots around Willow Brooke Farm provided the perfect backdrop for these last few shots of the happy couple.The day might have started off cloudy, but it was filled with so much love and joy that it felt like the sun was shining brightly. Tanner and Kyra’s wedding was a true celebration of their love, surrounded by family and friends who couldn’t have been happier to share in their special day.
